Describe the principal mission of the position.
· Customer contact for SW technical related topic
o Design Review
o Architecture clarification ..etc
o SOP support
· Support other Network for SW related topics
o Reflash, testing, EOL control
o Supplier support.
· Support of first Step warranty analysis for Parts supplied in Asia
§Highlight the main responsibilities
Technical:
· Review and approve Product / Process Change Requests
· Assist in the IFMEA & DFMEA development as required
· Review control, regulatory and safety items on prints
· Consult Project Teams and Project Work Groups in problem resolution
· Assist in the development of wiper/washer systems as a Technical Specialist
· Ensure validated standard designs are used
· Support the Standards Team or Electronics representing R&D
· Analyze Electronic warranty return
· Interface with the customer for the R&D subjects of this project, break down and cascade internally customer requests and needs
Organizational:
· Attend project team meetings when required
· Maintain and update personal training plan
· Participate in and contribute to customer meetings to address design issues when required
· Develop strong customer relations
· Track, post and report Engineering metrics
· Maintain a clean work area compliant to 5S and Security procedure
· Maintain an innovative technology log
· File patent disclosures as necessary
· Recommend and implement suggestions
· Participate in and contribute to the Validation and Program Management Committee meetings when required
· Develop/update procedures and work instructions as required
· Achieve Top 5 annual performance objectives
· Perform other duties as assigned by Management
· Apply the CIP / handbook
· Participate in Customer Problem Solving Groups as requested
· Support the Valeo 5 Axes Strategies, Valeo 1000, Valeo 5000, QS/ISO 9000 standards and TS 16949 specifications.
